Every order is a small ritual of its own. Here's how it moves from us to you.

Shipping

We currently ship within the U.S. only.

Processing time: Orders ship within 3–5 business days.

Carrier: USPS.

Cost: Calculated at checkout.

International: Not available through the site yet. Email us at emily@thealtaredstate.com and we'll see what we can do.

 

Returns & Exchanges

All sales are final.

We don't offer returns for a change of mind. But if something's wrong, we'll make it right — we replace items only if they arrive defective, damaged, or incorrect.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue. We'll review the claim and arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

 

Return Shipping

You're responsible for return shipping costs, unless:

The wrong item was sent

The item arrived damaged or defective

Use a trackable shipping method — we can't guarantee receipt of anything sent without tracking.
